In the strictest sense (ie. classic Unix style aliases), no we do not. You can, however, create additional email accounts to receive messages and then forward them to another account of your choosing.
If you are one of the contacts we have listed on file for the account, you can contact Nucleus Information Service Support by phone or by email from the main contact address on file. Then you can request your password or get it changed to something you would like.
If you go over your storage limit no additional incoming emails will be stored on the Nucleus mail server for that email address. Senders will get a bounce back error that informs them their email could not be sent to your address.
What is the limit on the number of recipients I can send to in one email? Are there any services that will allow me to send to more recipients?
Nucleus limits the number of recipients in a single email to 249.
The issue is being caused because SMTP Authentication not turned on in your email client. This is usually a checkbox labeled ‘My server requires authentication’, or something similar, that is located in your outgoing server settings, or ‘More settings’ section in Outlook or Outlook Express.
Also please ensure that your login username is your full email address.

The total size of an email can only be approximately 20 MB including attachment and message text. There is no limit to the number of attachments that can be sent out in a day.

Port 25 is preferred, but if there is an issue with the ISP you are using is blocking port 25, please feel free to use Port 587 instead.
I am not currently connecting to a nucleus internet connection, however I am trying to use my nucleus email. I can receive my email, but I can’t send, what is going on?
Many ISP’s use a type of mail filtering called port 25 filtering. This type of filtering prevents anyone from sending email with the default mail settings unless they are sending through their server. The solution for this is to either change your outgoing mail server to that of the internet provider, or change the sending port of your mail program to 587 instead of 25.

What you want to do is head to https://www.portal.mynucleus.ca/myaccount and login with your email address and password. Once logged in, click on the “Services”, and then click on “Manage”. and then on your email address you wish to setup. Click on “Vacation/Away Message” link on the right-hand side of the page. On this new page, in the Start and End dates that you want the reply active, and type in your message. Save your settings, and press Log Out. Make sure to revert your changes back when you come back from vacation!
