Rob "Mohammed Ali" Bartlett

CANADIAN RECORDING ENGINEER

When I first met Rob, I was doing the Triple Threat project "Terra Firma Boogie". I was very impressed with his sense of calm within the studio setting. It can be very intense sometimes, with creative artistic egos ranting, intense energies flowing. Some outsider who has never seen this, might think it was someone having a tantrum. He is my engineer of choice whenever I go to do a project, no matter what style of music I present him with, Rob gives 100% and goes that little extra distance that not to many will. He is one of the most professional human beings I've met in this business. Now, what's this Mohammed Ali thing? You have to be in the know. Punches man. Get it now? I'm not going into a long explantion here. If you still don't understand, then go to a recording studio and ask "Could you tell me what the term "PUNCH IN" means?" Hey, it's not the time clock either. ....Johnny V
