For the last three decades Peter North has been scribing exemplary music reviews that reveal the pukka characteristics of his journalistic ability. His honest approach, style and outstanding knowledge of the Country, Blues, Jazz, Folk, and Roots genres have made him a godsend for the artists who perform in Edmonton. Country music icon George Jones phoned him recently from Nashville to thank him for "the most honest and accurate review he had read in fifteen years". Peter currently writes for the Edmonton Journal in Alberta, and is one of the main researchers behind the scenes for the C.B.C. television show "Country Beat". Now in all the asinine wisdom of the CBC executives they have cut the show from the television airwaves (nice going you jerks). It was one of CBC's most viewed shows. Hats off to Peter North another fine Canadian.
