Here is my photo collection of old hit-n-miss engines. The photos were taken at engine shows throughout central Alberta during 1999. I use the photos to help design and build the model engines shown below.

Model Engines I have always wanted to build a model hit-n-miss engine but never had the know how, the time, or the nerve to attempt the project. Well a few months ago I got the bug and took the plunge. I designed and built a small home foundry for casting the main parts for the little engine, and I'm well into the project. Have included a couple of photos of the latest work. These photos will change and be updated as the construction progresses. |
