NUCLEUS DEPLOYS NEW SPAM FIGHTING SOFTWARE
Nucleus Information Service Inc. ("Nucleus") today announced that it has deployed new SPAM fighting mail server software.
"The ever increasing amount of SPAM our clients receive is growing exponentially and Nucleus needs to stay ahead of the problem." said Dave Berzins, President of Nucleus. "Early estimations are that Nucleus is catching between ninety five and ninety eight percent of SPAM from getting to our clients."
SCA or Sequential Content Analyzer is a multi layer SPAM detection system written by Vircom Inc. of Montreal Canada. "Our Modus3 technology and its SCA engine are doing even better than expected," says Sylvain Durocher, President and founder. "With spam levels reaching as high as 50% of the total e-mail flow and still increasing, a multi-layered engine like the SCA offers plenty of raw power to block spam while remaining extremely accurate in preventing false positives. Clearly, Modus-powered solutions really are what ISPs and corporate clients need to get rid of spam and get back to their real business".
Nucleus continues to fight to keep your emails free of un-requested ads, solicitations and pure junk. In just over half a day with this new engine, we have stopped over 100,000 messages".
