"I am really impressed with the customer support service at Nucleus. In fact, that is why I decided to keep Nucleus as my ISP even after I moved from Calgary to Vancouver. I have had to deal with Telus for my work email in the past and it was a TERRIBLE experience: talking to a voice recognition system, being passed from one person to another, not getting my questions answered. I really appreciate the fact that I can talk to a real person right away at Nucleus and that the first person who answers the phone is ready to help me with technical questions. Sometimes the solution to my problem is really simple, such as 'plug your phone line into the Ethernet modem to get it working', and when this happens, your staff doesn't make me feel like a fool. "I would like to say that we have had Nucleus in our home since we moved back to Calgary in 1994. Often a service is overlooked until it is down and I can remember only one time when the server was down in all of that time and it was of short duration…and it was early in the morning so I suspect most people didn’t even notice. Good service! If one has a need for service the online staff are great and the phone staff as well. The face to face staff at the office are wonderful and friendly and rush all over to get ones problem solved. (Unlike other providers “We’ll be out between the months of July and October” ) The service is plain and simple but up to date technically as far as I know. I guess you could say Nucleus is the Westjet of ISP’s…friendly, reasonably priced, courteous and capable. You don’t hound us with ads and spam emails and nonsense. I know outside spam is a constant battle and some gets through but not much. Keep up the good work. P.S Please don’t ever sell to one of the behemoths, we sure don’t plan on moving our account!"

"The customer service at Nucleus is exceptional. Recently we moved into a home we purchased. When we moved Nucleus transferred our service to the new house. Initially it didn't work because Telus had installed a filter in the phone system where it enters the home (Telus is not our phone service provider). Nucleus arranged for Telus to come and fix the problem. When the Telus employee was at the house they removed the filter and also disconnected all of our downstairs phone jacks. When I contacted Telus to come and reconnect the jacks they disconnected I was told that they had no record of their employee ever being there. So I contacted Nucleus. They were very helpful and even sent out one of their own techs to have a look at the problem and see if they could fix it. Not only did Nucleus fix the connection to the phone jacks for us, they didn't charge us for the service. In my books that is service above and beyond what is required. I will continue to use Nucleus for as long as I am in their service area and I recommend Nucleus to my friends, not just because of their great product, but also because of their exceptional customer service."

Excellent progression, service and implementation of new technology, IE, spam and virus scanning. I have advised others of your exemplary service at every chance I get. "Another damn reason!!!!!!! You people never seem to stop - you keep on improving without even being asked. Received your latest bulletin regarding increasing the storage space to 50 megabytes - I have been away for a couple of weeks - now there is no need to go to web mail to make sure I am not over my quota!! Fantastic. For those of us who receive a lot of email this is a real bonus.

I bet the other ISPs haven't done this. They couldn't be bothered. They are not as customer orientated as Nucleus. I couldn't be bothered to check on them anyhow. I am sure that they might make a splashy announcement six months from now or something like that. Meanwhile, good ole Nucleus quietly goes behind the scenes and does it, then slips all their customers a note saying, "hey this is what we have done for you". My hat is off to everyone at Nucleus. Great management and staff there. They know how to run a business properly.

At every opportunity, I put in a good word for your company and strongly urge anyone to switch or sign up with Nucleus. I am sure that many of your other customers do the same. I sometimes feel that I should apply for a sales job with your firm, but that would cut into my retirement time. However, I am sure I can do just as good of a job from this point. I don't want any pay - you people just keep on doing the fantastic job you are presently doing and that will be payment enough.

Also, I have extensive praise for your technical support staff as well. No matter a person's expertise, they talk to the caller in a manner they can understand and appreciate."

"I have been having some ongoing problems with my DSL. I have reported it to your tech support, and everytime your techs have been super!! It turns out the problems I have been having are a TELUS issue. Dave in your DSL department has kept me updated as to the status of this problem, which is great as I know something is being done about the problem.

Today TELUS stopped by my house when there was no one home. My husband found a note in our mailbox to this effect. I called TELUS, and after getting through their frustrating voicemail system, their 611 operator could not help me. She told me I had to go through you guys, since I was not the one that put in the trouble call. That so far added to my frustration.

So, I called your tech support back. I can't remember the fellow who answered the phone, but he looked into and told me that TELUS would be checking back at either noon or 3:30. Again, no one would be home. Your tech then determined that TELUS did not require access to the inside of my home, that they could check what needed to be done from the exterior of my house. He told me he would be adding this information on the ticket. So, that solved a problem for me! After my frustration with TELUS's so called customer service, it was refreshing to get an answer and a resolution to my problem.

Again, this is why I have been with you guys since 1995. Your tech support is second to none! Keep up the good work!!!"
